Just kidding. Maybe. I don't know. I'm so delirious. 

How is everyone? Happy Wednesday!

First and very foremost, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of your kind words and well wishes on our engagement here and on my Instagram posting. We are so happy and grateful and I don't even know where to begin.

So for now, I'm going to proceed with my regularly scheduled WIAW posting. Thanks to Jenn at Peas & Crayons for being such a gracious hostess!

(If you're new to these parts, a quick intro: on Wednesdays, I write about everything I ate the day before. I love it because it's fun, connects me to other like-minded souls/bloggers, and holds me accountable to eat mindfully and chronicle my meals.) 

I only got a few hours of shut eye on Sunday night. I was too excited to sleep! I woke up at 4 on Monday morning and my head didn't hit the pillow again until around 11 that evening. So my usual 5:55am alarm on Tuesday was unusually horrifying. I dragged all through 6:30am spin class. I'm starting to realize that I perform significantly better a bit later in the morning, giving me time to sleep a little longer and eat a good breakfast. #rocketscientist

After class I hit up Juice Generation for my usual smoothie - Joyful Almond: no agave, add kale. I haven't been drinking many smoothies since the weather's cooled down, but it was a pretty mild morning. The JG associate made me extra, and called out "Joyful Almond, extra agave!" jokingly when my order was ready. Loving the early morning humor and generosity! (I froze the leftovers.)

Sidenote: did anyone catch the SNL Vitamix skit? I have been dreaming of registering for a Vitamix for a looong time, so that skit was the big joke at dinner Sunday night, a few hours after we'd gotten engaged. I don't think my fiancé/father realized quite how much they cost until Sarah Silverman decided to mock them on one of our favorite shows. Thanks, SNL, for the great timing. #eyeroll #nutbutters

Back home to shower and nap. My midmorning snack was a mug full of Gluten Free Rice Chex, blueberries, and almond milk.

Lunch was a Veggie Patch Mediterranean Patty with some cornichons. (I didn't end up eating the cottage cheese.)

Since my lunch was so small, I was hungry for something sweet shortly thereafter. I was really in the mood for a glass of soy milk and a Nature's Bakery Fig Bar, so that's what I had!

For dinner, I made a big chopped salad of baby romaine, garbanzo beans, salami, turkey, and mozzarella with a homemade mustard parmesan vinaigrette. (If you're a fellow CPK fan, this is basically a complete rip off of their Italian chopped salad and I love, love, love it.)

Dessert was a small sliced apple sprinkled with cinnamon.

And there you have it! I also drank tons of water. I'm trying really hard to be more cognizant of my H2O consumption.
