FRIDAY FASHION/FITNESS/FOOD 3 + GIVEAWAY!

Happy Friday! Is everyone happy to see the weekend? Yesterday was my sister Perri's birthday and we went to one of our favorite restaurants (Fig & Olive) for dinner and split a few Sprinkles cupcakes for dessert. Today I feel hungover, and I didn't even have a sip of alcohol last night. I guess that's what happens when you get used to not having dessert at night and then you eat a cupcake close to bedtime. Noted.

So let's get right to the good stuff...

FASHION

Well, I talked about fashion on Wednesday, but this week ended up being way too warm for some of those items! Short sleeved sweaters are my savior in this weird part of the season. I picked up this one at Forever 21 earlier this week and I've already worn it twice. It's a little more substantial than a regular tee and will be nice to layer over a button down when the temps drop a little bit. And you can't beat that price. I got it in Burgundy (of course) in a size small for a slightly oversized look. The mild weather has also allowed me to get ample wear out of my lace-up flats, above. (I have the taupe color, but I just found out they make them in leopard print too. Shoe FOMO right here.) 

FITNESS

Big changes this week...I ended my gym membership so I'm really finding my new normal. I went to SoulCycle for the first time in two months. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I end up doing a ton of walking to, from and during Girls On The Run. Which, by the way, has been such an incredibly enriching experience for me. Those little cuties really brighten up my day. I don't know if I'm going to be able to do it next season as my schedule is about to change pretty drastically, but I'm so, so glad I'm involved with it now and I only wish I'd signed up sooner.

FOOD

Today I've got a fun little giveaway for you! I've teamed up with Manitoba Harvest to give one of you a bag of hemp hearts! Hemp hearts are little seeds that are packed with proteins and heart-healthy omega-3s. Sprinkling hemp hearts on top of cereal is a great way to add protein, and I also like them in yogurt for a nice added texture. I think my favorite way to enjoy them, however, is pictured above: atop a sliced banana with chocolate hazelnut butter. Yes, yes, yes!
