Happy Wednesday! And Happy Giveaway Day!

Let's get right to it. My friend Jen owns an amazing company called WALA SWIM. WalaSwim.com is a fabulous one-stop shop for all of your swimwear needs. The site's collection is highly edited, with a focus on quality over quantity offering only the best of the best.

Jen has curated a selection that emphasizes fit, fabric, and fashion. I think if you asked 10 women what their least favorite clothing item to shop for is, at least nine of them would say "swimsuits." Jen and her team have really taken the painful guesswork out of this process by providing detailed fit information on each piece in their inventory. With Jen's help, I picked out a gorgeous suit for my recent trip to St. Maarten.

Straight up, bathing suit photos are awkward if a) you're not Gisele and b) your husband isn't Steven Meisel. We did the best we could though (thank you Ben) and the fact that my body is far from perfect is actually a good thing here because a) it's realistic and b) it's easier to find a suit that flatters your current body than to try to fit your body into a certain style. Right? Right.

I'm wearing the Seafolly Goddess Bustier and the Seafolly Goddess Twist Band Hipster (on sale) both in the Indigo color. The fabric on this suit is absolutely gorgeous in person. I tend to prefer bandeau styles because halter tops can really un-flatter my broad shoulders, and the pleats on this top feel sexy and feminine. The "V" shape of the bikini bottom elongates my very short torso (no easy feat) and eliminates muffin top. Three cheers for that! I also want to point out that these photos are in no way edited, Facetuned or Photoshopped. I decided to keep it real. After all, the whole point of purchasing a swimsuit from WALA is choosing a style that fits well and makes you feel good!

"Shut up, Teddi! What's in it for me?" Well, Jen was generous to offer one lucky reader a $150 GIFT CARD TO WALA SWIM!!! YES! It's true! I am so flipping stoked to be able to give this to one of you wonderful people! The holidays are all about treating the people you love, and I feel so grateful to be able to treat one of you. A MILLION thank yous to Jen for making this possible! Good luck and thank you for reading. I love you all!
