It is no secret that I love sweets.

It's also no secret that I really need a new "Teddi loves sweets" photo. Sorry.

Anyway, I think we can all agree that this is the time of year that we start to think about our bodies in a different way: specifically, wearing less clothing.

The winter is (finally) thawing, which can only mean one thing: spring (and summer!) await. Your fitness instructors are no doubt starting to talk about "bikini season" and unless you live in Florida (I envy you) you're likely dreaming about donning that tucked away wardrobe of shorts, tanks of dresses in the near future.

And if you're like me, you're thinking about all of these things - the warmer weather, bikinis and those long lost clothes - but your sweet tooth still beckons. (Side note: Milly is having an amazing sale on their Cabana line and swimwear. I scooped up a suit for my wedding weekend/honeymoon earlier today.)

If you're watching your figure but still like to indulge mindfully, check out these five sweet treats I've been enjoying (in moderation) below.

Green & Black's Organic White Chocolate. This is without a doubt, the richest, creamiest white chocolate I've ever had. The Madagascan vanilla adds an amazing depth of flavor. It's almost like eating chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream in solid form. Tastes even better right outta the freezer.

Enjoy 4 pieces for 77 calories.

Silk Dark Chocolate Almond Milk. This is perfect when I'm craving something sweet at night but don't want to go full-out dessert. It's light but totally satisfying.

Enjoy 1 cup for 100 calories.

Coco Roons. I discovered these at Fresh Market in Florida earlier this month and brought a bag home. I'd never seen them in New York before but have since found them at a local health foods store. These come in a variety of flavors and are kosher for Passover!

Enjoy 1 cookie for 80 calories.

EcoTrek Fitness Whole Food Bars. My love for EcoTrek Bars (and it's founder, Cari) is no secret. These are perfect as a midday pick-me-up or right before (or after) a workout.

Enjoy 1/2 a bar for 98 calories.

Gluten Free Vanilla Rice Chex. When we lived in Dallas in the late 90s, my mom used to buy me "White Trash" from Neiman Marcus: little white plastic "garbage cans" filled with Chex cereal covered in white chocolate and God knows what else. I think in most circles this snack as known as "puppy chow" or "muddy buddies." Whatever you call it, it was heaven. This is sort of the guilt- (and gluten-) free version of that. Adorable miniature trash can not included. 

Enjoy 1/2 cup for 80 calories. (If you prefer to eat it with a spoon, add 1/2 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk - an additional 20 calories.)

P.S. Neiman's sadly no longer carries "White Trash" but these Studmuffin Cookies look equally delicious.
