Have you seen those EDDIE. SET. GO. ads in magazines recently? The first time I spotted one, I knew I had to reach out to the marketing team at Eddie Bauer to tell them about the (awesome) coincidence. We got to chatting and I quickly realized that Eddie Bauer has really upped the fashionable factor on their product offerings!
Lately I find myself spending more and more time in the gym... but I still want to look polished when I'm not hopping on the bike or hitting the mat. I am constantly on the lookout for multifunctional pieces: tops and bottoms that can translate from yoga to vino, from cycling to shopping, and of course, from barre to brunch.
A lot of workout tanks can be a bit too tech-y to translate from gym life to real life, and that's where this Aster Cami comes in. It's beautifully made with super-smooth fabric that's easy to move in and perfect for yoga, Pilates and barre. Many camisoles have thin, snappy bra-like straps and a straight across neckline... features that give the top almost an industrial feel. You know what I'm talking about, right? This cami gets it right. Substantial straps and a scoop neck ensure a flattering fit, and the keyhole detail in the back really takes it up a notch. Being a small-chested gal myself, I also love the built-in shelf bra. I have a really short, squatty, square torso and usually can't get away with wearing tops like this, but I like it tucked in (see below) or bunched up a bit.
For barre class I paired this with leggings and my bride-to-be grippy socks (not pictured here) and for brunch I quickly changed into my favorite "tuxedo" stripe pants that definitely feel more like pajamas, ballet flats, and a smaller handbag. Easy peasy!
Psst... the Aster Cami (and all full-price women's items!) is 30% off now through May 10 with code SUNSHINE. Ah-may-zing. EB is also offering free shipping on any order of $99+ (no code necessary). Enjoy!
P.S. I also wore this top tucked into this Banana Republic knit skirt on a recent trip to FL. Love that skirt... can't wait 'til it warms up enough to wear it here in NYC!
A big thank you to Eddie Bauer for partnering on this post!
