Hi friends! Stopping by real quick today to tell you about a cool new website a friend recently told me out. It seems as though the internet has become list-obsessed, given the popularity of Buzzfeed and listicles. Avelist is a site that allows you to find and collect lists across the web. But even better, it allows you to create your own, perfect for a listaholic like myself.

A few of my favorite recent finds include How to Lose a Job in 10 Days (hilarious); Health Benefits of Coconut Oil (because I didn't know and was honestly curious); and Heartbreakingly Adorable Winnie the Pooh Quotes (because, wah!)

I think lists are great because as inhabitants of the world in 2014, we (humans) are super information-hungry and want to absorb as much as possible, as quickly as possible. The format of a list is visually pleasing and easily digestible.

(On the other hand, as a writer, I'm still banking on the fact that people will continue to read prose when it strikes them!)

This site is a great way to help you catalogue all of those little nuggets of info you'll want to remember later. Let me know if you check it out!

{This is not a sponsored post. I generally think this site is awesome and I like to spread the word about brands I enjoy. Hope you like it too!}
